Enhancing Mobility and Visibility Across Events and Shops
CRS epos was recently approached by our long-standing client, the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI), to deliver a series of lightweight, portable EPoS solutions. The goal was to support the organisation’s expanding network of event stalls and compact retail outlets with a flexible, easy-to-deploy system.
The first wave of TouchPoint Lite systems was deployed a few months ago, with additional units being added as part of an ongoing rollout. These compact setups were specifically selected to provide RNLI with a flexible and reliable point-of-sale solution that could be easily transported and quickly installed.
Each system includes:
A tablet-based till with a compact countertop stand
A Bluetooth barcode scanner for fast, accurate item recognition
Seamless integration with TouchOffice Web for real-time sales reporting and stock management
This configuration allows RNLI staff and volunteers to scan any item in their product range, process sales efficiently, and automatically sync data to head office. From there, the central team gains full visibility of sales performance and inventory levels across all remote sites, whether at a fundraising event, pop-up stall, or seasonal outlet.

Key Benefits:
Portable setup ideal for events, mobile shops, and temporary venues
Real-time sales tracking via cloud-based reporting tools
Centralised stock visibility for better planning and replenishment
Fast and simple deployment with user-friendly hardware and software
This project reflects CRS epos’s commitment to delivering scalable, intuitive solutions that meet the evolving needs of charities and retailers alike. The RNLI now benefits from a streamlined, professional retail experience across every customer interaction , wherever that may be.
