A busy local Italian restaurant, known for its authentic cuisine and welcoming service, recently upgraded its Point of Sale system to improve efficiency, accuracy, and the overall dining experience.

Before the upgrade, the restaurant relied on a very basic EPOS setup with no back office support. This created several challenges:

  • Limited ability to review or analyse sales performance.

  • Menu changes, specials, and pricing updates had to be made manually on the tills.

  • 1 ICRTouch touchscreen terminal paired with 1 receipt printer to manage orders and transactions.

  • Full programming and setup carried out by the installation team, tailoring the system to the restaurant’s menu and workflow.

  • Optimised configuration to provide as much reporting as possible directly from the terminal, even without a back office.

  • Staff training delivered to ensure confidence in using the system, from processing orders to making simple updates.
